Dr. Khrizman and Dr. Miller Resigned in December of 2012

Dear Patients, Friends and Colleagues,

As you know, we are living in an era of unprecedented health care reform resulting in many uncertainties for patients and physicians alike. Nevertheless, Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Wellness (FMGW) has played and will continue to play a significant role in the transformation of primary care delivery design in our region.

While some of us have found this style of practice to our likings; others have not. Hence, we are writing to inform you of the resignations of Doctors Khrizman and Miller as of December 22nd and December 31st respectively. While we continue to enjoy a mutually satisfying professional relationship with them, the pace and style of our medical practice are not a good fit for their long term career goals.

Those providers who remain- Dr. Mambu (12 yrs), Dr. Marcus (6 yrs), Lisa Albert CRNP (9 yrs) and Amy Lorenzo CRNP (12 yrs) – will continue to see patients in the hospital, community and office as always. Dr. Mambu will continue to accept new patients into his Integrative Medicine practice and an additional part time physician will be joining this practice later in the year.

We anticipate no interruption in our abilities to serve you and your family either in the hospital or office. Those of you in the community will continue to be seen on a regular basis and whenever additional visits are required for illness or injury.

On behalf of Dr. Khrizman and Dr. Miller, please accept their sincere appreciation for your trust and friendship during their time at FMGW. Please join with us in wishing them the best of health and continued success in their careers.

Yours truly,

Joseph Mambu MD
